Microencapsulated Menthol is designed to enhance the performance and stability of volatile menthol by encapsulating it in shell material. This shell material is broken when it comes in contact with water. This enables the addition of menthol to be used in processes with high temperatures like soap bar extrusions and lip balm manufacturing. The encapsulation technology is also useful for addition in body powders, enabling higher retention of menthol, along with a significant reduction in odour loss.
